It looked like this except with bad rimz, a huge front lip and a terrible paint job with zero clear coat. It was giggle worthy.

I had an Accord Coupe go by with exhaust yesterday. Wasn't too bad. Tbh it looked kinda cool. Was blue with some blacked out stuff. Was driving other way so didn't get a good look.

This happens to me all the damn time. Most of the time I just ignore them, but every once in a while one tries to pass me in a shitty corsa just pulling away from a light on a two lane road with a 60 limit. So I can safely put my foot down and hurt their ego by passing them in a bright blue diesel panda. That's always good fun.

I ended up behind a riced-up 1st gen Altima on an on-ramp a few nights ago. Stupid rims, poorly attached (and very large) body kit, purple underglow, and a fartcan exhaust. Needless to say I bid him a swift adieu.

Totally not trying to hate on I4s, but dont all cat back exhausts on I4s have fart cans or at least sound like fart cans?

Not sure. You can tune them for better sound, but the cheap ones are really loud and don't sound good. Thus, fart-can.
